"Adwuma ye fuo kuo" in English means "workers union" or the Trades Union Congress (TUC) that was inaugurated in 1958 by Ghana's First President, the late Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. It is a song praising the TUC as the backbone for the emancipation of the working masses of Ghana.
