About this composition:

This is a piece for flute sounds, and modeling of timbres from the far east. In particular the sound of the Shakuhachi. The timbre, for the most, was achieved Spectral Modeling Synthesis. The inspirational sources for the piece are a Shakuhachi performance and a subway station in Hong Kong . The environment at the time, the high percentage of humidity, and a hot temperature also contributed to this soundscape.
