Pedro Caryevschi

(Argentina)

[En español...] Pedro Caryevschi (b. Argentina) was among the group of composers who received scholarships during the 1969-1970 biennial to study at the Centro Latinoamericano de Altos Estudios Musicales (CLAEM) of the Instituto Torcuato Di Tella (Latin American Higher Studies Musical Center of the Torcuato Di Tella Institute) in Buenos Aires, Argentina (1). Other well known Latin American composers were also at CLAEM at the time, such as Jorge Antunes from Brazil, Alejandro Nuñez Allauca from Peru, Antonio Mastrogiovanni, Ariel Martinez and Coriún Aharonián from Uruguay, José Ramón Maranzano and Eduardo Kusnir from Argentina, and Rafael Aponte Ledée from Puerto Rico.

Caryevschi has also been active composing music for films and participating in different sound and music projects.

Pedro Caryevschi (Argentina) fue uno de los compositores becados durante el bienio 1969-1970 para estudiar en el Centro Latinoamericano de Altos Estudios Musicales (CLAEM) del Instituto Torcuato Di Tella en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
