Professor Sheridan devised her unique curriculum to allow students to experiment with scientific processes and engineering concepts in a hands-on manner. In-class exercises and take-home assignments, such as lessons involving magnetic processes, helped participants to grapple with complex scientific principles within a practical and participatory context.
