This specific iteration of The Giver of Names was part of the exhibition e-art: New Technologies and Contemporary Art. Ten years of accomplishments by the Daniel Langlois Foundation, which took place at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Montreal (Quebec) from September 20 to December 9, 2007.

Curated by Jean Gagnon, then director of the Daniel Langlois Foundation, the exhibition also included works by Philip Beesley (Canada), Jim Campbell (USA), Marie Chouinard (Canada), Luc Courchesne (Canada), Jessica Field (Canada), Lynn Hershman Leeson (USA), Eduardo Kac (Brazil-USA), Rafael Lozano-Hemmer (Mexico-Canada), Catherine Richards (Canada).
